Region Västmanland leaves the staff situation – greatly reduced spread of infection

Nor are nearly as many people contracting covid-19. Even the RS virus is on the decline. This is shown by the healthcare’s sampling. Sickness absence among the staff has also decreased.

– The fact that the region leaves the staff situation does not mean that everything is resolved, but that the challenges that still remain from now on must be handled within the framework of ordinary operations. In the long term, however, we must work long-term to remove the root causes of the lack of care places, says Lars Almroth, director of health and medical care.

The requirement that mouth protection be used by staff throughout the work shift is also removed. Instead, mouth protection must be worn when working with patients.
