Region Dalarna has received complaints that they sent out invitations to patients where the care department calling for the visit was fully visible in the window envelope. Now they have to pay 200,000.

The Swedish Data Protection Agency (IMY) has decided that the region must pay because it failed in the handling of sensitive personal data.

It is said to have involved approximately 2,500 calls per year, among other things to a children’s and youth medicine clinic.
