According to Bloomberg; Court records revealed that Musk was actually a grieving father. Musk made heartbreaking sentences in his e-mails with the father who lost his son as a result of a traffic accident with a Tesla branded car in 2018.
That accident happened like this; On May 8, 2018, a Tesla Model S was driving 187 kilometers per hour in Ford Lauderdale, Florida. However, the driver lost control and crashed into the concrete wall of a house. The vehicle burst into flames and Barrett Riley and his friend in the passenger seat were killed in the accident.

In his emails, Musk wrote to the grieving father, “There is nothing worse in life than losing a child. My firstborn son died in my arms. I felt the last heartbeat.”
With these words, Musk was talking about his son, Nevada Alexander Musk, who died when he was 10 weeks old.

The emails were included in the court filing this month in the case involving a different Tesla accident.
