Two to hospital after fight with knife and baton
A person was stabbed outside in Vänersborg shortly before midnight.
The person was taken to hospital in an ambulance and the police are investigating the incident as attempted murder, writes GP.
Two more people were assaulted. One was beaten with a baton and taken to hospital. The other was stabbed in the jacket with a knife and escaped without injuries that required treatment.
The extent of the injury is unknown.
The police tell GP that there is witness information about the perpetrators.
“Several in the party must have been seen leaving the scene in a vehicle,” says officer on duty Fredrik Flyberg.

“El Chapo” asks the president for help
Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, who is imprisoned in the United States, has sent a distress call to Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

Russian Embassy shared image showing Crimea as Ukrainian
The Russian Embassy in Sweden shared an image on Twitter on Tuesday that showed the petrol prices per liter for each country in Europe.
In the picture, they have done something that does not follow the Russian rhetoric.
Namely, the image shows that the Crimean Peninsula, and other Russian-occupied areas, belong to Ukraine. Although Russia believes that the land area belongs to them.
Later in the evening, a new image was published depicting “the correct Russian map”

The elite force is accused of abuses against Rohingya
Human Rights Watch singles out an elite force within the Bangladeshi police force as responsible for harassment, arbitrary arrests and extortion against Rohingya.
The notorious police force, which goes by the name ABPN, has been in charge of security in the refugee camps since 2020 and, according to Human Rights Watch, has committed at least 16 cases of abuse.
– The police abuses in the camps have made Rohingya refugees suffer because of the forces that are supposed to protect them, says Shayna Bauchner, Asia researcher at Human Rights Watch.
The world’s oldest is dead
The world’s oldest person Lucile Randon is dead, reports AFP.
She lived to be 118 years old.
Randon, also called Sœur Andrée, was a French nun, who became the world’s oldest on April 19, 2022, after the death of Japanese Kane Tanaka.
Man stabbed at subway station
A man has been stabbed at Rågsved subway station in Stockholm.
Police were alerted at 9 p.m. that a man had been beaten.
– We have seen in surveillance cameras how one person has run after another, says police spokesperson Rebecca Landberg.
In the cameras, it was also seen that the person who was chasing had a suspicious knife in his hand.
The man who was injured made it to a kiosk which is now cordoned off for a technical examination.
The man has been taken to hospital and is said to have been awake and able to speak.
The suspect jumped aboard a subway train and left the scene.
The subway was closed for a short time but should be back in normal traffic. No suspect has been arrested.
The police have classified the incident as suspected attempted murder.
Netherlands sends Patriot to Ukraine
The Netherlands will send the Patriot air defense system to Ukraine, reports Reuters.
Prime Minister Mark Rutte states that together with the United States and Germany they are sending the system.
Rutte is currently in Washington where he is meeting US President Joe Biden.
SD politician becomes the youngest in the Riksdag
SD politician Daniel Lönn, 21, becomes a new member of parliament for the party and is thus the youngest member of parliament, TT reports.
Lonn will replace Mats Nordberg, who died on Sunday.

Gang of friends got a police visit in the middle of the video game
After hearing loud screams and calls for help from an apartment in Södertälje, a neighbor called the police.
– A suspected apartment dispute. But when the police entered the apartment, they found a group of friends playing video games and were very overwhelmed, says Rebecca Landberg, press spokesperson for the Stockholm police region.
The police state that no crime is suspected.
A man threatened his car with a knife
A person has been robbed of his car in Danderyd, north of Stockholm.
The alarm came in to the police at 7 p.m.
– A person has been threatened with a knife because they wanted the person’s car, says Rebecca Landberg, spokesperson for the Stockholm police region.
Defense chiefs of Ukraine and the United States met at a secret location
Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny and US Defense Secretary Mike Milley met for the first time in person on Tuesday.
The parties were seen at a secret location on the Ukrainian-Polish border, Norwegian writes VG.
Zaluzhny later wrote on Telegram that he briefed Milley on what the urgent needs are for Ukrainian forces.
Belarusian opposition leader on trial
On Tuesday, the trial against Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tichanovskaya began, TT reports.
After the 2020 presidential election, she declared herself victorious and demanded that President Alexandr Lukashenko relinquish power.
Instead, Tichanovskaya was forced into exile and has lived in Lithuania ever since. She will not attend the trial.
She is charged with, among other things, high treason, conspiracy and having founded a “terrorist organization”.
