HBO turned one of the most popular games of all into a series: The first episode of The Last of Us has been running since last Sunday in the USA and since Monday in Germany on WOW *. The expectations of the zombie horror are high – both on the part of the fans and on the part of the station, which created series classics like The Sopranos and Game of Thrones.
Apparently both sides can be satisfied: the premiere was well received by fans and critics alike. And as Deadline reports, the numbers are correct. What’s more, The Last of Us got the channel’s second-best launch in the last 13 years.
