(Finance) – Producer prices in Japan in December 2022 are higher than expected. According to the Bank of Japanfactory prices recorded an increase of 10.2% on an annual basis, higher than the +9.7% of the previous month.
On a monthly basis, i industrial prices they rose by 0.5%, after the +0.8% in November and against the +0.3% of the consensus.
THE import prices they marked a decline of 4.1% month-on-month and an increase of 22.8% year-on-year. THE export prices they decreased 3.1% month on month and grew 12.1% year on year.
