During Sunday, SMHI upgraded the warning for high water flows to orange in areas of Gnosjö municipality. There, the water levels are rising in, among other places, Nissan and in the Storån. A yellow warning has been issued in several other parts of the county.
The emergency services have received several alarms about water-damaged buildings in the past 24 hours.
– Right now we are on site in Hillerstorp helping a villa owner on Korgmakaregatan to pump water out of the basement. I have received four similar alarms here today, says the rescue service’s command operator to SVT.
