With the AOC AGM600, the manufacturer of the same name has launched a gaming mouse. In terms of structure and features, it is strongly reminiscent of popular mice such as the Logitech G502 Hero or the Kone XP from Roccat. MeinMMO editor Benedikt Schlotmann has tested the mouse and reveals why the mouse could be worthwhile.
AOC is best known for its monitors, but the manufacturer now also has mice, headsets and keyboards in its portfolio. The latest addition is the AGM600, a multifunctional gaming mouse that works on paper for different genres.
In a test I tried the model and compared it with the most well-known competitors. You can read in my test how the gaming mouse from AOC performs in the test.
Features and technical details:
Scope of delivery, design and construction
What does the scope of delivery look like? In addition to the mouse, there is also a manual included with the mouse. The cable is firmly attached to the mouse and cannot be detached. There are no other accessories.
How is the mouse constructed? The AGM600 comes in a black design:
The mouse also offers subtle RGB gimmicks. The manufacturer’s logo lights up on the buttocks of the mouse and the edge of the mouse is illuminated unevenly. The rest of the mouse remains black.
processing
The mouse feels pleasantly robust, which is probably due to the high weight of 115 grams. Nothing rattled on the mouse during the shaking test, all buttons are tight and the mouse wheel also stays in its position. There is no cracking or creaking when there is slight pressure on the body of the mouse.
The mouse cable is a bit stiff overall and a bit annoying on the desk. However, it is sufficiently long at 1.8 m. The mouse feet are quite thin, but big enough that I don’t notice the wear that much. After use, the mouse wheel squeaks slightly when turning.
software
The software suite “G-Menu” from AOC is used for the mouse. And G-Menu is absolutely exemplary when it comes to clarity and structure:
Although there is the option of using the profiles of other players, this stays pleasantly in the background and is never intrusive. The software is entirely in German.
On the next page I go into the weight, ergonomics, buttons and sensor of the gaming mouse.
