Pokémon GO held a total of 15 different Community Days for you in 2022. That’s why we at MeinMMO wanted to know which one was your favorite. We have summarized the results for you below.
What events are you talking about? In Pokémon GO, a so-called Community Day is held once a month. This focuses on a specific monster, which can then be found anywhere.
With an improved shiny quota for the respective Pokémon, you also have a good chance of encountering a dazzling specimen on such a day.
In 2022, the Community Days concept was supplemented by three different Community Days Classic, which dealt with monsters that already had their own C-Day. For this reason, you were able to take part in a total of 15 different events of this type last year.
We therefore started a survey and wanted to know which Community Day you liked best in 2022.

Which monsters did you choose? Last year you were able to catch a number of different monsters as part of the Community Days and the Community Day Classic.
The following 15 Pokémon of the most different types were to choose from: Sea Pug, Bulbasaur, Hoppspross, Sandan & Alola Sandan, Hydropi, Velursi, Alola Kleinstein, Kapuno, Staralili, Galar Zigzachs, Kiesling, Lichtel, Dratini and Teddiursa.
A two-day event also awaited you in December, where you could encounter all the C-Day Pokémon from 2022 again, as well as the following Pokémon from the previous year: Machollo, Eevee, Roselia, Swablu, Dusk, Sheinux, Kaumalat, Serpivy, Floink , Ottaro and Dartiri.
This monster is your favorite: In the past two weeks, we wanted to know from you which of the Community Days in 2022 you liked the most. To date (as of January 15th, 2022, 10:00 a.m.) a total of 657 trainers have taken part in our survey.
You chose the Community Day with Kapuno in June as your favorite with a clear lead. You voted as follows:
Possible reasons why you chose Kapuno
If you look at the results of the survey, it quickly becomes clear that almost half of all participants voted for the Community Day with Kapuno. Finally, the C-Day Classic with Dratini and the Community Day with Lichtel follow at a clear distance, together accounting for around 25% of the votes. The remaining votes are distributed among all other monsters that were available for selection.
This is why Kapuno is so interesting: Kapuno is a Dark and Dragon-type Pokémon. Like most dragons, this makes it not that easy to get in-game outside of certain events, especially in its shiny form.
In addition, the Pokémon with Hydreigon also has a strong evolution that is one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO. So it can fall back on high attack values and a strong moveset, which is why it should not be missing from your team as a dark attacker.

Additionally, Community Day with Kapuno was a good way to advance in the Dark and Dragon type medals. In order to get them in platinum, you have to catch 2,500 copies of the respective type.
What makes Dratini and Lichtel good?
Dratini: Even though Dratini already had its own C-Day in the past, it still managed to score with some of you as part of the C-Day Classic. Similar to Kapuno, this could be due to the fact that it belongs to the dragon type and also has a strong advancement.
Unlike other Dragon-type Pokémon, however, Dratini can occasionally be found in the game. Nevertheless, this monster was also a good opportunity to advance the progression of the “Dragon Medal”.
light: With Lichtel, another strong and, above all, popular monster entered the race last year. This celebrated its shiny debut in the game on this day, for which numerous trainers had been waiting for ages.
With its latest evolution, Skelabra, it’s also one of the top 10 fire attackers in the game. And as one of the strongest ghost Pokémon, it can also be seen in raids.
Monsters with few votes: In contrast to Kapuno, Dratini and Lichtel, other monsters such as Hopsprout, Alolan Kleinstein or Staralili hardly got any votes from you. This could be mainly due to the fact that these can be found relatively often in the game and are therefore a little less interesting for many trainers. Therefore, they could have been interesting mainly because of the shiny.
