Fans of cultivated sci-fi horror could rejoice. The best line in the genre will soon be continued by the Alien series. There’s still a while to go before launch, but production will be coming soon reach their first important point.
Alien Shooting Starts: Sci-fi horror is breaking new franchise ground
As head of production company FX John Landgraf confirmed to Deadline, The series is scheduled to begin filming later this year. Showrunner Noah Hawley (Fargo) is currently in active pre-production.
Franchise fans will already be looking forward to the series, after all it is breaking new ground for the series. For the first time in the Alien Universe because the story will take place entirely on earth, about 70 years in the future. Heroine Ripley should not appear in it.
When is the Alien series coming to us?
There is no fixed start date for the Alien series yet. If the start of shooting is celebrated in the next few months, season 1 mid 2024 to appear.
