A deceased man has been found in an apartment in Eskilstuna. The police have opened a preliminary investigation into murder.
– Circumstances surrounding the death mean that crime cannot be ruled out. We are in the process of forming an idea of what has happened, says police spokesperson Monica Bergström.
The police were called to the scene at 6pm on Friday. The residence has been cordoned off for a technical examination.
– We will conduct a crime scene investigation and the deceased person will undergo a forensic examination. We have carried out door knocking, and will talk to people who may have heard and seen things in other ways as well, says Bergström.
No suspect has been arrested.
