Harry Potter franchise is in crisis after three spin-off parts
JK Rowling is now controversial as the creator of Harry Potter due to increasingly transphobic statements. Besides that, the franchise is too become a financial problem child. Since the finale, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2, three Fantastic Beasts films have been released, with the series consistently dropping at the box office.
Initially, five Fantastic Beasts films were planned, but that will probably not happen now. It was recently reported that Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav plans to refocus on the studio’s biggest franchises going forward. Of course, that includes Harry Potter.
According to insider information, there are opportunities here for the successful play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a two-part film will be developed or a complete reboot of the entire fantasy series will be developed. Exact plans for the future of Harry Potter are not yet known.
