Therese Johaug is expecting her first child.
The Norwegian superstar has now revealed the gender of the child, while Frida Karlsson sends a neat fit.
– Oh no. I hope I can finish before the baby arrives, says Karlsson jokingly.
Norwegian Therese Johaug is one of the absolute best skiers of all time. In March 2022, the 34-year-old announced that she was ending her career, a career which, among other things, included a whopping 14 World Cup golds and two Olympic golds.

And now, when her career is over, a completely new chapter awaits in Therese Johaug’s life together with her boyfriend Nils Jakob Hoff. The couple is expecting a child, something that Johaug revealed in the podcast “Johaug-edaktionen”. Last week, she took to Instagram and talked about the upcoming addition to the family.
– That is the biggest thing you can achieve. This surpasses all the gold I have won, Johaug told Norwegian NRK.

Recently, Therese Johaug showed off her pregnant belly at the Norwegian sports gala, where she received the award as female athlete of the year.
– I haven’t felt bad during the pregnancy, so I’ve been lucky. But I’m very tired and it’s unusual.

“Oh no…”
After Johaug’s message, the Swedish star skater got Frida Karlsson the question of whether it is really necessary to have another generation of Johaug in cross-country skiing.
– Yes exactly! “Oh no”. Hope I have time to finish before she arrives,” said Karlsson during the Tour de ski according to Expressen.
– If it will be a daughter. No, but it’s cool and fun for Therese.
