Brantford police blocked off a section of Icomm Drive on Thursday night to investigate a collision involving a pedestrian.
A spokesperson for the Brantford Police Service said there was a collision involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle. The collision resulted in the pedestrian suffering serious injuries.
Several cruisers could be seen in the area and the investigation appeared to be focused on the municipal parking garage.
Motorists are being asked to avoid the area while police investigate.
