Vivo X FlipIt is expected to be the next clamshell foldable smartphone with its launch this quarter. Earlier reports suggested the external display would be a vertically placed rectangle below the camera island, and a new diagram shared today reveals more details.
The phone will follow the design language of the X90 series with an aluminum strip that will hinge on the X Flip case. The external display will be 682 pixels wide and the cameras will be just two, with enough room for the ZEISS brand.
The internal screen is expected to be 1080 pixels wide – Samsung, Oppo and MotorolaAll of them have Full HD+ panels too, just Huawei It offers slightly larger screens with higher PPI density.
The volume rocker is pictured on the right, and the power key below is visibly aligned on the side, meaning it will house a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The dual camera setup is hardly a surprise, either. While having more cameras sounds good in theory, it will drastically reduce sensor size and ultimately degrade camera performance for most scenarios.
