Fury Unleashed is a co-op platformer on Steam with shooter gameplay and roguelite elements. You shoot your way alone or in pairs through the world of a comic book, in which you compete against numerous bosses. The game is currently on sale – you can get it for €5.
What is Fury Unleashed game? In this 2D side-scrolling action game, you’ll fight your way through the pages of a comic book to uncover why the creator of the popular “Fury Unleashed” series is in a creative lull right now. You also have to help him get out of there.
The creators of the game based their development on newer roguelite platforms such as Dead Cell and Rogue Legacy, but also on classic run and gun games such as Contra and Metal Slug.

How does the gameplay look in Fury Unleashed the end? You gamble your way through an interactive comic book. Your most important resource: ink, which you can use to unlock improvements for further runs.
With every new room you enter, two new pages in the book are opened and you can always discover a small new world.
You can choose between the easy and the hard game mode, depending on how big the challenge should be for you. Once you have mastered the hard setting, you will unlock the other two options “Incredible” and “Legendary”.
If you’re not a Blood and Gore fan, you also have the option to turn off the display of blood and violence.

You can customize the hero and choose specific abilities depending on your playstyle, so you can mow down even more enemies in the fights. You can perform devastating combos with unlockable weapons such as submachine guns, rocket launchers or stun guns.
The comic book world consists of a mix of already created and procedurally generated levels. You will encounter a total of 40 bosses in it and you will have to understand their combat patterns in order to be victorious in the end.
Because the game is a roguelite, i.e. a weakened form of the roguelike, you retain certain permanent improvements over the runs, even if your hero dies.
You can play the game alone as well as in local and online co-op.
