“Right now it is impossible to say when the water may be back, but the forecast says that it may take up to a day. We will return with information about where water tanks will be placed,” the municipality writes on its website on the night of Thursday.
Several schools and preschools in the municipality are closed on Thursday. The municipality’s crisis management staff has been activated to handle the situation.
The interruption comes after a water leak in Hammar on Wednesday that affected large parts of the water supply in the municipality.
