A month after the most well-known leaker for Genshin Impact ended, the action RPG is again struggling with numerous leaks.
Which leaker stopped? On December 13, 2022, leak account UBatcha, well-known in the Genshin Impact community, announced that it would stop posting leaks. He also deleted all content:
The purpose of such an order is to persuade a person or institution to disclose information that is relevant for further legal action. For example, Discord would have to pass on data such as the name or email address of the leaker.
Genshin leaks are flooding Twitter and reddit
How is the current situation? It was only in early January that a large Genshin Impact live stream took place with the content of the upcoming 3.4 update. But the Genshin community is not satisfied with the official information. And so there are again numerous leaks almost a month after the resignation of UBatcha.
Various information is circulating in the subreddit “Genshin_Impact-Leaks”. From character information and kit descriptions to pictures. If you want to get a first, unofficial insight into upcoming content, you will find it there.
We include an example post with leaked pictures here. Note, however, that this is not official information. Also, don’t look at the post if you don’t want to be spoiled.
The resignation of the leaker UBatcha apparently brought no improvement to Genshin Impact and HoYoverse’s fight against leaks continues. It remains to be seen whether the situation will ever change.
In any case, the subreddit in question has over 350,000 members and the posts regularly reach several thousand upvotes: the demand for leaks about Genshin Impact seems to be huge.
