Titanic comes out in cinema in a restored 4K 3D

While Avatar 2 continues to be a hit around the world, 20th Century Studios has decided to bring another James Cameron film to the cinema, namely Titanic. Indeed, on the occasion of its 25th anniversary and a few days before Valentine’s Day, Titanic will get a makeover, coming out in a restored version in 4K 3D HDR and HFR (High Frame-Rate). This means that the film has undergone processing to offer 48 frames per second, as is the case with Avatar 2, or The Hobbit at the time. At this stage, we do not know what the process was to make HFR possible for a film shot on film at 24 frames per second, but we imagine a process carried out digitally, under the supervision of James Cameron. Similarly, we do not know if the film will be entirely in HFR or only a few sequences… While waiting for answers, we can revel in a new poster, splendid, and which reminds us that the couple Kate Winslet / Leonardo DiCaprio has gathered 21.77 million spectators in France, that it is the number 1 film in France, that it occupies the 3rd place in the world box office of all time, with more than 2.2 billion dollars in revenue and that the soundtrack, composed by James Horner, is the best-selling of all time in the “Film music” category. In short, a monument of cinema, returned to the Pantheon. Here is the new trailer made for this 25th anniversary restoration.
