If Sony recently announced the end of the Playstation 5 shortage at CES 2023, it is still quite complicated to find the console in stock on French sales sites. We help you find PS5s in stock.
[Mis à jour le 11 janvier 2023 à 10h26] After a complicated exit in the heart of the shortage, then two years of uninterrupted stock shortage, the Playstation 5 is just starting to get its head above water. Consumers can also rejoice at the recent announcement made by Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, saying that the time of the console shortage is coming to an end. Concretely, for French consumers, little has changed; the console is still in high demand by buyers, and queues are getting longer on resale sites. But there are a few ways to get the console easily, and we’ve collected them for you in this article.
For the past few weeks, it has been a major player in the home console market, managing to sell PS5s at normal prices on a continuous basis. This is obviously Amazon, which offers console packs with the excellent God of War: Ragnarök on its German and English sites. It would seem that the Sony console is much more available across the Channel and across the Rhine than in France, a bargain when you consider that its selling price after conversion and application of delivery costs would amount to a maximum of €638. As a reminder, the PS5 God of War: Ragnarök packs are sold for €619.99 in France in normal times.
If CDiscount does not have the international reach of Amazon, the French site remains the leader in sales of the Playstation 5 in France, offering console packs very regularly. Once again in the middle of January, the seller is offering lots including games, accessories and of course, the console in Digital or Standard version. But beware, PS5 sales at CDiscount are limited in time, due to the great popularity of the console and the multiplicity of lots offered. The above list is therefore subject to change from day to day.
