The return of the elected representative from the North remains mixed since if he has found a place in the hemicycle, he cannot yet sit alongside his colleagues from the group of La France insoumise. Sentenced by the Lille court for domestic violence, Adrien Quatennens is temporarily on the list of non-registered and will be able to find his political family next April.
The deputy temporarily kept away from his political family
The temporary suspension of Adrien Quatennens by the parliamentary group of La France insoumise was the condition provided by the political party for the return of the deputy. This suspension runs until April 13, 2023. From then on, the deputy will be able to display his LFI label again but only if he follows “a course of accountability on violence against women with feminist associations”, second and last condition laid down by the party to allow his former number two back into the game.
