the new trailer reveals the face of Modok we recognize

As announced by Marvel Entertainment on these social networks, a new trailer for Ant-Man 3 Quantumania was released this night around 4am, just after the game of College Football Playoff National Championship. This is the second official trailer and it confirms the much more serious tone of this first MCU Phase 4 movie. Has Marvel finally decided to take the next step with the arrival of Kang as a new serious antagonist of the Multiverses? This is indeed the direction that the Marvel Cinematic Universe seems to be taking, turned upside down by two years of introducing new superheroes and finding its new identity after the end of the Thanos era. Still, this trailer number 2 focuses on Kang seemingly wanting to woo Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), promising to make up for lost time when he got stuck in the Quantum Realm during the snap, taking 5 years of his life with his daughter. When a character like Kang is able to rewrite existence and shuffle timelines, one can imagine the monster possibilities Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige can have to prepare for the arrival of Avengers The Kang Dynasty and Avengers Secret Wars.

Another character that is presented in this trailer of the day is that of MODOK, which we see masked and with an uncovered face too. It’s not hard to recognize actor Corey Stoll, who had already been leaked by Evangeline Lilly on her Instagram account during filming, before she got her fingers slapped and deleted her post a few hours later. Kevin Feige therefore rewrote the character compared to the comics, and it is therefore Darren Cross who succeeds George Tarleton, this AIM technician who came into contact with the cosmic cube to become the Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing (MODOK therefore). We also remember that for the introduction of Ant-Man in the MCU, Kevin Feige had decided that it would be Scott Lang, and not Hank Pym, who is interpreted by Michael Douglas. While waiting to find out more, know that the release of Ant-Man 3 Quantumania in cinemas is scheduled for February 15 in France (the 17th in the United States) and that its duration has been set at 2h05 of film. We look forward.
