Will Wednesday switch from Netflix to Amazon Prime in Season 2?
Wednesday Season 1 was produced for Netflix by the traditional studio Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (those are the ones with the lion). MGM, as it is known, was sold to Amazon over the course of the last year – along with its brands, which also includes Wednesday and the Addams Family. Wednesday is now owned by Amazon, which has sparked rumors that the company could snatch the new hit series from Netflix. But there is nothing to it. The deals between MGM and Netflix are not affected by the acquisition. So no, Wednesday is not switching from Netflix to Amazon.
When is Wednesday season 2 coming to Netflix?
Wednesday season will not be released until 2024. Netflix did not release an official date, but the preparations for the new episodes and finally the shooting will take a lot of time. Therefore, we can expect a release at the beginning of next year at the earliest.
Are Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers returning?
The big stars of Season 1 should return for Wednesday Season 2 as well. The series is unthinkable without the popular duo Jenna Ortega (Wednesday) and Emma Myers (Enid). You can therefore count on the return, as can the rest of the cast. However, there is no official information yet.
