Frida Karlsson is better than ever right now.
And there is a strong contributing factor to that.

According to Nilsson, Frida has “never been better trained” than she is now.
– In recent years, her strength training has developed a lot. She works closely with a physiotherapist and strength trainer, not with just being stronger, but with connecting all the parts together. The synergy between different muscles, the different muscles you work with, I almost think she has developed the most, says the trainer to the news agency TT.

“Absolutely sure”

Frida Karlsson has had to receive criticism because she goes out way too hard in the races. But without the ski queen Therese Johaug in the races she has been able to relax you a lot and lay out the tactics for the races better.
– She now calmly opens up about when she was 15 years old. Then it was absolutely full throttle. She is an offensive skater and likes to have that attitude as well, but I also think that you see now, without Johaug (Therese), that you don’t need a perfect race to win, says Nilsson in the interview.

Speaking of Johaug, Per Nilsson is asked if he thinks Frida can become as dominant as the Norwegian in cross-country skiing.
– It is very difficult to say. Johaug was extreme in his last years. The future will tell if she has that energy, to put in as much and how long she will last – but as long as she has this drive, she will be up there, I am absolutely sure of that, says the personal trainer.
