The new year is only a few days old and Netflix is dropping series after series again. Right from the start, the streaming service shocked fans with the announcement that 1899 would not be renewed for a second season.
Now it’s also clear that the popular animated sci-fi series Inside Job (Moviepilot average rating 7.1) has no future after Season 1. In doing so, that Cliffhanger Finale a clear sequel in prospect. Fans react directly annoyed and angry at this step.

Shion Takeuchi has officially confirmed that Inside Job has been canceled and Season 2 has been canceled. Words cannot describe the heartbreak I feel for the crew at seeing their hard work being so scrapped and how angry I am at Netflix. This is just heartbreaking.

Inside Job has been such a fun and calming series for me. Shion Takeuchi and his crew made a beautifully funny/freaky series that could have been so much more. But Netflix just had to scrap it. My condolences to the cast and crew of the series. They didn’t deserve that
