Swedes injured in avalanche accident in Norway

Two Swedish citizens are taken by ambulance helicopter to hospital after an avalanche accident in Romsdal on Norway’s west coast, Norwegian media reports.

The damage is described as serious. Another Swede is said to have received minor injuries.

The alarm about the accident came at 1 p.m. on the thirteenth, but due to difficult weather conditions, the medical transport has been delayed.

– We received an alert about an accident and sent out an ambulance helicopter that could evacuate the injured to hospital, says Klokker Sund, operations leader of the Møre and Romsdal police.
