[Mis à jour le 6 janvier 2023 à 10h28] Tahar Rahim has been chosen to preside over the 48th Cesar ceremony. Remember that the 41-year-old actor achieved a feat in 2010, winning not one, but two Césars (best actor and best male hope) for his performance in the film a prophet by Jacques Audiard.
The award ceremony for the best of French cinema is scheduled for February 24, 2023, at the Olympia. It will be broadcast unencrypted and live on Canal+. For the time being, the nominations for the César 2023 are not known, as is the name of the person who will present the ceremony. We already know that American director David Fincher (Fight Club, Zodiac, The Social Network, Mindhunter) will be present to receive an honorary Caesar on this occasion. The name of his presenter is not yet known.

Since 1976, the César du cinema ceremony has rewarded the best of the French seventh art. Prizes are awarded each year in Paris by the Académie des César, also called the Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques. It was the sculptor César who made the trophy, which has the shape of compressions of metal objects. Each year, between February and March, the ceremony is often broadcast live and unencrypted on the Canal+ channel. Radio enthusiasts can also follow the ceremony on Europe 1 from 2022. Among the most awarded films in the history of the Césars are The Last Metro and Cyrano de Bergerac (ten awards each), A Prophet (9 awards), From beating my heart stopped (8 awards). The next edition will take place on February 24, 2023.
