The Dragon Islands in WoW: Dragonflight are full of secrets. A player has discovered a secret island off the coast of the Azure Mountains that is only visible on some days. There you will find a lot of crabs and there is even a secret boss.
What happened? It has been some time since players first set out for the Dragon Isles. Meanwhile, heroes of the Alliance and Horde have helped the Aspects reclaim their ancient homeland, and the mightiest of them have vanquished Raszageth.
So the perfect time to see what other secrets the Dragon Islands have to offer. Some players have now discovered a small island far away from the landmass of the Dragon Islands, which is only visible in good weather.
While in earlier expansions you could only reach such remote places with a lot of effort or by reaching into your bag of tricks, in Dragonflight it’s very easy: thanks to the dragon riding!

What can you find on the island? The small island with the English name “Lev’al Rock Isle” is not much more than a collection of barren rocks in the wide ocean. At first glance, there is not much to discover there, apart from the crabs.
The island doesn’t look very inviting, because it’s covered with dragon bones and otherwise seems rather inhospitable. If you look closely you will find the bones of other adventurers, as well as the last meals of the islanders.
Speaking of islanders: Incidentally, Blizzard gave the crabs a unique model. Much like hermit crabs in the real world, the residents of Lev’al Rock Isle have made themselves comfortable in the bones of deceased dragons.

Little secrets and hidden places make the world come alive
Is the island part of an achievement? No, at least for now there is no connection between the newly discovered island and an achievement from Dragonflight. The community has also been unable to find any clues that the island and its inhabitants are part of a larger mystery.
Although the inhabitants of the island have a clear leader with the crab “Crustoteo”, even this “boss” hardly drops any objects worth mentioning. In addition to “grey” items, which only dealers are happy about, he can also drop items of “green” quality.
Nevertheless, the community is happy about the discovery. Little secrets and easter eggs like this one make the big MMORPG world come alive in the first place.
But it’s also possible that Blizzard will use the island and its inhabitants for something bigger in the future.
Where can you find the island? Would you like to explore the island yourself? No problem! Go to the Azure Mountains. At coordinates 24.4, 70.8 you will find a Tuskarr settlement.
Take to the air here with your kite and continue flying towards the south-west. After a short time you should be able to see “Lev’al Rock Isle” on the horizon.
