Positive case, contact case, vaccinated or not… A person who must isolate themselves and who cannot telework can request a Covid isolation certificate, to be given to their employer to obtain compensation. How to get it? Download a model on Ameli? From the MSA? How long?
[Mis à jour le 8 février 2022 à 12h00] People who are positive for Covid-19 must respect isolation. Travelers returning from certain countries must also respect a quarantine. The duration of isolation is variable depending on the situation. A person who must isolate themselves and who cannot telework can benefit from a Covid work stoppage. To receive compensation, an isolation certificate is required. It takes the give to your employer. Who can apply for it and how do I get it? What compensation?
Who can have an isolation certificate?
Situation (for insured persons) | Path to follow |
---|---|
Positive for Covid-19 | If you cannot telework, you can request a work stoppage and benefit from an isolation certificate. |
Contact case | → You have a complete vaccination schedule within the meaning of the health pass, you are not subject to isolation (even while waiting for your test result). Exception – If you are a contact case of your child confirmed case under the age of 16, you can request a stoppage on this site for the duration of your child’s isolation: up to 7 days from the onset of symptoms or the date of the sample if your child has no symptoms (a check will be carried out by the Health Insurance). → You have an incomplete vaccine schedule: you can only request a derogatory work stoppage (and benefit from an isolation certificate) after having been contacted:
|
Symptomatic or positive self-test | You have to isolate yourself and get tested immediately to confirm the diagnosis. If you are in professional activity without the possibility of teleworking, you have the possibility of asking to benefit from a work stoppage, without waiting period, and a certificate of isolation allowing you to isolate yourself until you obtain the result of your test directly online by this teleservice. |
Child care at home | You must contact your employer in order to benefit from partial activity (partial unemployment) and send him any supporting documents in your possession. |
fragile person | According to Ministry of Labor protocol, these people must request a certificate of isolation from their general practitioner, city doctor or occupational doctor. This certificate must be presented to the employer in order to be placed in partial activity. At the same time, it is recommended by Health Insurance to approach the employer. |
Traveler after a trip to a country at risk | The procedure for applying for a certificate of isolation must be carried out solely by your employer. You must get closer to him and send him any supporting documents in your possession. |
In case of difficulties, you can contact the CPAM from the email of your Ameli account or call the 36 46.
Can a positive case have a certificate of isolation?
Covid-positive people who cannot telework can request a work stoppage and benefit from an isolation certificate.
You have a complete vaccination schedule within the meaning of the health/vaccination pass, you are not subject to isolation. So you can’t not claim a work stoppage and therefore request a certificate of isolation. Unless you are in contact with your child under 16 positive for covid. One control will be carried out by the health insurance.
You have an incomplete vaccine regimen within the meaning of the health/vaccination pass: you cannot make a request for a derogatory work stoppage (and obtain an isolation certificate) that after being contacted:
- by a telephone call or an SMS with instructions from the Health Insurance,
- by a positive patient who has warned you and informed you of the instructions to follow,
- by an email of instructions sent by the Health Insurance,
- or by an SMS referring to the consultation of a site dedicated to contact persons, on which the instructions presented must imperatively have been validated for your request to stop to be processed
How to download a model of Covid isolation certificate?
The isolation certificate below (if it is completed by a doctor) is equivalent to part 3 of a work stoppage notice. It must be given to your employer (or to each of them if you have several employers). They will take care of sending a salary certificate to your primary health insurance fund (CPAM).
Two solutions to obtain an isolation certificate:
► Either you will see your attending physician who can complete an isolation certificate and give it to you at the end of the consultation.
► Either you go to the site declare.ameli.fr and you complete a request for a declaration of home maintenance (check boxes depending on your situation). After verification, Ameli will send you, first, a confirmation email attesting to the need for isolation which can be sent to your employer while waiting to receive the official isolation certificate on your Ameli account.
How do I upload it to Ameli?
To obtain a certificate of isolation, the insured can go to the site declare.ameli.fr and complete an application for declaration of home support. Ameli will check your situation and send you an email confirming receipt of your request. This email will serve as a certificate to give to your employer while waiting to receive the official certificate directly on your Ameli account or by mail.
The MSA (Agricultural Social Mutual Fund) manages the health, family, retirement, work accidents of farmers and agricultural employees. It is possible to obtain and print the form for a request for a certificate of isolation in the event of symptoms of Covid-19 and in the event of impossibility of teleworking, directly on the MSA website. This document will be to give to your employer at the start of your isolation. You must complete and sign it before sending it to him. Please note that this request does not constitute automatic compensation by the MSA. This is subordinate:
- to the effective performance of a screening test,
- the fact that, upon receipt of your test result, you complete the derogatory work stoppage declaration available on your MSA’s website, in the Covid-19 > Covid-19: what you need to know section
How long does it take to receive your isolation certificate?
The isolation certificate is available on his Ameli account:
- At the end of 7 days if you have an Ameli account
- At the end of 12 days if you do not have an Ameli account
Do you have to give your certificate to the employer?
The document attesting to the isolation must be sent to his business (employer) or his training organization who will take the steps (with the CPAM or the MSA) for you to be compensated during your isolation.
If you are a student, on a work-study program or on a professional contract, for example, the document attesting to the isolation must be given to your training organization. It is he who will take the steps with the CPAM or the MSA so that you can benefit from compensation during your isolation.
