In episode 571 of Here it all begins on January 5, the students are tense after the announcement of the competition within the pairs. Hortense offers not to participate but Lionel and Mehdi do not want to miss an opportunity to join the brigade of a great chef. Ferigno tries to convince Clotilde to cancel this cruel new test, which she refuses. In a room, Ferigno reproaches Vic for not having yet succeeded in approaching Mehdi to integrate him into his brigade. To punish her, he calls the chef where she wanted to work to cancel her internship and gives him until tomorrow to do so. Vic then talks about the circle to Medhi, who refuses when he learns that he won’t be able to tell Hortense about it. Against all odds, David arrives unexpectedly and offers Esteban instead to tell him a story. When Lisandro calls to say that he and Anaïs won’t be home until the next day, David decides to spend the night with his teacher, promising to be discreet.
Finally, in the episode of ITC on Thursday January 5, in the kitchen, Zacharie asks his students to work on the galette des rois without destructuring it, which surprises the students. Once the cookies of his students are finished, Zacharie tastes them and that of Jasmine has his preference. He then asks her to revisit it to put it on the Double A menu. To work on her proposal, she settles in a kitchen next to Elliott, who is preparing a pancake for his food-truck. But a few hours later, Zacharie makes a mistake when he tastes Eliott’s cake and validates it for the restaurant. Jasmine is desperate.
