Table of 2022 Olympic Games medals: Sweden in the lead, France 10th

Table of 2022 Olympic Games medals Sweden in the lead

MEDAL JO. Despite the first gold medal for the French delegation with Quentin Fillon Maillet, France is ranked in 10th place in the medal table.

If all medals are important for athletes, for the classification of medals in these 2022 Olympics, only those with the most precious metal, namely gold, count. With five podiums on the clock since the beginning of the Winter Olympics, France is in a very good dynamic. But with only one gold medal, that obtained by Quentin Fillon Maillet on Tuesday February 8 during the individual men’s biathlon, France is 10th in the ranking.

The 2022 Olympics medal table

At the top of the medal table, we find Sweden with six medals, but already 4 in gold ahead of the Netherlands, which has a string of medals in speed skating, and the host country, China, with 5 medals, including 3 in gold. With its first gold medal, France is back in the top 10.

The Blues hope to obtain more than 15 medals in these Winter Olympics in Beijing and beat the record of Sochi and Pyeongchang. With two new medals this Tuesday February 8 in silver for Tess Ledeux and especially in gold for Quentin Fillon Maillet in biathlon, France is now at 5 charms in these 2022 Olympics.
