American football player Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills collapsed on the field after a tackle from one of the players of the opposing team Cincinatti Bengals on Monday night.
Medics performed CPR on Hamlin on the field, surrounded by the other players, and he was then taken to hospital. According to a statement from the NFL, his condition is critical.
The game was suspended and the NFL announced after just over an hour that it would not be resumed.

A Russian robot attack destroyed an ice rink in the eastern city of Druzhkivka in the Donetsk region on Tuesday night, the Donbas ice hockey club said in a statement on its website, according to Reuters.
According to the club, the ice rink has hosted Ukrainian championships, international competitions and cultural events.
