SLEEP AT 110 KM
Tesla in autopilot mode escaped the police in Germany. On the A70 highway near the city of Bamberg in the state of Bavaria, a driver put his Tesla vehicle in autopilot mode and fell asleep at the wheel. The police tried to stop the vehicle in question, but the driver did not respond to the police. Unsuccessful in waking the driver, the police chased the vehicle in autopilot mode at 110 kilometers per hour. About 15 minutes later, the driver of the vehicle woke up and pulled the vehicle over.
NO INJURED
In a statement made by Bamberg police on 29 December, it was stated that the 45-year-old driver reacted as if he was “under the influence of drugs” during the control, and that the driver used weight to convince the vehicle’s security system that his hands were on the steering wheel. It was stated in the statement that the driver was accused of endangering road traffic, and that the driver’s license was confiscated until the court. It was also announced that no one was injured in the chase between Tesla and the police. (UAV)
