One person has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman in Skövde, according to local media.
The woman was found outdoors by a footpath on New Year’s Day.
Police are investigating the death as a homicide or homicide. The body must be examined by a medical examiner, to try to establish a cause of death.
– We have conducted several interviews with people, and we cannot rule out crime, says Magnus Karlsson, head of the police’s unit against serious crimes in Skövde, to Skövde Nyheter.
According to Karlsson, the technical investigation at the crime scene did not give a clear answer as to what happened.
The suspect was arrested by prosecutors late Sunday night.
