In the past week, several serious acts of violence have hit Stockholm and the latest in the series was the shooting in Vällingby on New Year’s Eve. One person died and two were injured in the downtown shooting.
According to SVT’s information, the police have information that the victim was part of a gang conflict in the area. The police spokesperson confirms that they see links to network crime but does not want to comment on the information further.
– It is possible that we can release more information in the future, but not right now, says Daniel Wikdahl at the police.
