League of Legends has new hints of a new champion due out in mid-2023. A well-known leaker summarized the information in a video.

What do you officially know about the next champions? After K’Sante has appeared, the next two champions for LoL are:

  • An “Ixtali” enchanter, i.e. a new supporter – this will be the first new champ of 2023. Nature-loving heroes such as Neeko, Nidalee, Rengar or Zyra come from Ixtal.
  • A “Darkin” Assassin, that’s going to be a new midlaner. He is a Darkin, there are only a few champions of that race in LoL. The last one was Aatrox, the top laner came in June 2013.
  • Before that, Riot Games wants to revise the two heroes Ahri and Aurelion Sol.

  • The character is female

    • Big Bad Bear says he’s commissioned some pictures of the champion in light of the leaks of what the Darkin might look like. But these are not leaks, but pictures based on leaks.

    How is the hero played? The champion should be playable as an assassin in the midlane. Originally the champ was planned as “AD”, but also has scaling at AP like the hero Varus.

    The leaker says he’s “very unsure,” but it could be the hero also has:
