Two own goals gave Liverpool the victory

It started shaky.

The away side took an early lead when Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall made it 1-0 after just four minutes, silencing Anfield.

Liverpool, who have had a less successful season, but stood for good efforts last time, forced for an equalizing goal. But 1–0 stood for a long time.

Until the 38th minute.

Because then right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold hit a cross which Wout Faes unfortunately sent over his own goalkeeper Danny Ward and into the goal.

Then it got worse for Leicester – but above all for Faes.

He scored another own goal. Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez chipped his finish into the post. The ball bounced near the goal line where Wout Faes tried to clear, but instead sent the ball into his own goal.

In the second half, Liverpool played the match and won 2–1. The Merseyside club is very much involved in the fight for the Champions League places.

In the other Premier League match of the evening, Brentford beat West Ham 2-0.
