The two brothers were arrested according to the Romanian news channel Antena3 in a luxury villa in the capital on Thursday evening. The property was then searched by the police.
The arrest came the day after Andrew Tate got into a Twitter feud with Greta Thunberg. He wrote a post where he talked about his 33 luxury cars and their emissions.
“This is only the beginning. Enter your email address and I can send you a complete list of my collection of cars and their respective huge emissions”.
Soon after, Greta replied:
“Hello, please enlighten me. Email me at [email protected]”.
The climate activist’s comeback against Andrew Tate quickly gained a lot of attention and now Greta Thunberg is the woman with the most likes on a tweet ever.
