This is how the fisherman lost in the Atlantic Ocean held on to life! Found at buoy 2 days later

This is how the fisherman lost in the Atlantic Ocean

Deivid Soares, a 43-year-old fisherman who opened for fishing on 25 December from the city of Sao Joao da Barra on the Atlantic Ocean coast of the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro, was lost in the current after falling from the boat. Deivid’s friends took action when his family worried and asked for help from those around. As part of the 2-day search in the ocean, Soares was found clinging to a signal buoy in the middle of the ocean.

THOUGHT HE DIED FROM THE COLD

Fisherman Soares told what happened to him that he tried for 10 minutes to get back to his boat after falling into the water, but could not succeed due to the strong current in the ocean. Deivid, who took off his shirt and trousers in order not to get tired any more, said that he was waiting for help by climbing the signal buoy he reached 4 hours later. The fisherman, who stated that he thought he would die of cold during the 2 days he waited in the buoy, was diagnosed with excessive fluid loss during the health check in the emergency room he was taken to, and treatment was started.

“IT WAS MY SECOND OPPORTUNITY TO BE A BETTER MAN”

Returning to work the day after he was rescued, Soares said after this bad experience, “I had a second opportunity to look at life with a different eye and to be a better man.”
