SMHI has issued an orange warning for snowfall in the coastal areas of Ångermanland and Västerbotten up to Umeå. During the day tomorrow, a snowfall area moves north over Norrland and in the coastal country the snowfall is expected to be heavy.
“Slippery, Muddy Roads”
– It can certainly be a bit difficult on the roads already in the middle of the day tomorrow across southern and central Norrland, says TV4’s meteorologist Linda Eriksson. It can be slippery and muddy roads.
An area between Härnösand and Umeå will receive up to 30 centimeters of snow tomorrow evening and night. In combination with fresh and gusty winds, the snowfall will also lead to snowdrifts.
