There is hardly a film in 2022 that fans have been waiting for as long as Avatar 2: The Way of Water. Hardly any film, no matter what year, comes close to its visual power. And nevertheless it’s just way too long for its interchangeable story. At least that’s what our colleague Yves thinks.

In his opinion, there cannot be the slightest doubt about the optical revolution of James Cameron’s work. But do you really have to spend more than three hours in the cinema seat for this?
