The economic slowdown is beginning to be felt in the labor market and in the bankruptcy statistics.
In November and December, Trygghetsfonden TSL received 50 percent more applications for help from dismissed LO workers than in the corresponding period last year.
Two out of three applications came from industry, housing construction and trade, says TSL CEO Caroline Söder.
Bankruptcies are also increasing. The number of bankruptcy applications has increased by almost 50 percent during the second half of the year compared to the second half of last year.
