Nubia brand, gaming smartphone Red Magic 8 Proannounced the. They actually introduced two different phones. These are the ZTE nubia Red Magic 8 Pro with a 6,000mAh battery and 80W fast charging, and the ZTE nubia Red Magic 8 Pro plus with a smaller 5,000mAh battery but 165W faster charging.
The Plus version also comes with more RAM and storage options, but nubia has kept the overall feature set and design the same – both the Pro and Pro Plus share the same chipset, cameras, design language and software.
Two nubia Red Magic 8 Pro devices, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Comes with chipset. For better gaming effects such as enhanced sound details, colours, touch sensitivity and haptic vibration feedback. Red Magic R2 chip supported by
The screen has Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and has a touch sampling rate of up to 960Hz 6.8” AMOLEDis . Previous Red Magic 7 ProAs in the , the 16 MP front camera is located under the screen, so there is no hole design.
Speaking of cameras, there are three on the back. The main camera uses a 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL GN5 sensor with 1/1.57” size and 1.0μm pixels. There is also an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2 MP macro sensor, but the shooting experience is not that important for a gaming phone. (At least for most of us)
More importantly, we cannot have a powerful phone without gaming performance and proper cooling. Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro versions, including multiple layers of graphite sheets and a 2,068 cu.mm 3D vapor chamber ICE 11.0 It has cooling properties.
The side fan is now 20,000rpmand now a graphite sheet protects the entire screen. This technology can be perceived as a big improvement in the world of gaming smartphones.
Nubia also improved the phone’s design for better connectivity with nine separate antennas around the body. There’s a 3.5mm audio jack at the top and a USB-C port for charging at the bottom. (Since it’s a gaming phone, it should have a 3.5mm audio jack)
The two shoulder buttons at the top (actually on the right) bring support for 520Hz touch sampling, and there’s once again a hard trigger for game mode.
The nubia Red Magic 8 Pro and its 6,000 mAh battery feature the 8C design (eight different cells for heat management). It comes with an 80W charger in the retail box that should go from 0% to 100% in 35 minutes. It’s also the largest battery ever in a Red Magic smartphone.
Next up is the Red Magic 8 Pro Plus. To deliver 165W fast charging, which is the fastest on a Red Magic smartphone, nubia has reduced the battery to 5,000mAh to make room for the appropriate hardware that takes care of power delivery, security management and overall protection.
The 165W charger is a USB-C to GaN adapter and we don’t expect this version to be sold outside of China as it has to pass strict security checks to be approved worldwide.
