During Boxing Day, many people go out into the traffic to get home after the weekend’s Christmas celebrations.
SMHI has issued warnings for sudden ice and snowfall.
– This can of course have an impact on traffic as it can cause reduced visibility and delays in bus and train traffic, says TV4 Nyhetern’s meteorologist Lovisa Svanberg.
The weather will affect traffic in several parts of the country and pose some challenges, according to the Swedish Transport Agency’s press manager Bengt Olsson – and he has clear advice for all drivers today.
– Drive in the middle of the day and on the main roads, he says.
