The avalanche ended in a Christmas miracle – Sweden news

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

A Christmas miracle. The mayor of the ski resort of Lech, near St Anton in the Austrian Alps, was able to thank higher powers after the Christmas Day avalanche. All skiers who were missing have made themselves known.

Initially, ten people were reported missing after an avalanche on the 2,700-meter Trittkopf mountain between Lech and Zürs. Both ski resorts are part of the same lift system as St Anton, a place that is well known to many Swedish ski tourists. A large rescue force was deployed. Now all those who were noted as missing have reported to the authorities.
