Christmas Day is usually called the year’s homecoming day, when many people come home to greet family and friends. In Jönköping County, 13 people were taken into custody for alcohol intoxication between 10pm on Christmas Day and 7am on Boxing Day. Five of these cares took place in Jönköping and the others took place around the county.
– Clearly there were some cases with drunkenness involved, says Priya G Ekelund, police spokesperson.
Otherwise, the weekend was quiet with no arrests by the police.
