Six years ago, a season ticket in Vemdalen cost SEK 4,465, this season you have to pay just over SEK 8,000 for the same type of season ticket, which means that the lift ticket price has increased by 81 percent in six years.
In Åre, the season ticket has increased in price by 62 percent and in Sälen it has become 61 percent more expensive since 2016. At the same time as the price increase for other goods and services in society during the same time period increased by 22 percent.
– There is not much in life that becomes 80 percent more expensive in six years, says skier Tommy Unkuri.
