Extensive flooding forced nearly 46,000 people to leave their homes in the Philippines on Sunday, civil defense spokesmen said.
Two people are said to have died and nine are missing after heavy seasonal rains flooded parts of the southern region of Mindanao, according to the spokesmen.
Of the total of 45,700 people who were evacuated from their homes, 33,000 came from the town of Gingood.
