In the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness movie, Iron Man was actually planned to be in the Illuminati group.
Honestly, I don’t know about you, but as a Marvel fan, when I watched Doctor Strange 2, I left the theater in a depressed state. I will not explain the reasons for this at length, because I have mentioned it in detail in the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness review article.
First of all, let’s warn you that if you haven’t watched the movie yet, the rest of the news will have spoilers, that is, content that will spoil your enjoyment.
Iron Man was actually considered in Doctor Strange 2
As you know in the movie, Doctor Strange faced variants of many characters in a parallel universe. We have seen that these characters set up the Illuminati group, just like in the comics. Normally, in the comic book series, Tony Stark, Iron Man, was included in this group. According to new information, this character was one of the first names to be considered in the movie.
When we look at the leaked new concept art of the movie, we see two different Illuminati group members. Apart from Captain Carter and Captain Marvel, this image includes the Iron Man variant and Baldur the Brave character, which we did not see in the movie. If you remember, there were many rumors about Iron Man before the movie came out, and it was even claimed that the famous actor Tom Cruise might be a Tony Stark variant.
