The new DS E-Tense project, in which the concept, launched in 2016, was kneaded by adapting it to the future, also contains important messages on the technical side.

The presence of the brand in Formula E, which will have one of the pioneering transformations of the brand in the electric future, is also vitally important for the developments in the technical side of the business. The French manufacturer, which has come to the fore with its concepts symbolizing the dynamics that it will carry to mass production in the future in recent years, has reinterpreted the E-Tense concept that it launched in 2016. Compared to the project 6 years ago, DS E-Tense Performance, which we saw created on a much more striking and radical lines on a design basis, carries messages from the future electrics in the coming period.

Infrastructure dynamics for DS E-Tense come from Formula E
Launched about a year ago, the E-Tense, in which the traces of the daytime running lights of the new DS 4 are felt, brings radical changes in body. The vehicle, which is shaped on coupe dynamics, feels much more sporty and futuristic with its lateral lines compared to 2016. Formula E dynamics appear on the engine side of the vehicle. The car, in which the double electric motor combination is used, has a power of over 800 horsepower (815 PS). It seems inevitable that this value, which was positioned above 200 horsepower in the formula 6 years ago, will be burned in the performance in the upcoming period. Developed jointly with Total Energies, the battery is equipped with a special cooling system in order to prevent the extra heat intensity caused by sporty driving. Continuing to work on reflecting the experiences in Formula E on the streets, DS seems to be focused on increasing its existing claim with the new generation product range it will create.
